►the cycling to Mandai

no durians on the floor, but saw durians on the tree! haha i feel like a mountain turtle, getting so excited over seeing durians on the trees cuz i have never seen that before! haha at least it wasnt a wasted trip...

cycling almost killed me. SO MANY UPSLOPES. i never felt that cycling was such a torture. at some point in time, i felt like i'm out of breath and i'm going to faint. but luckily.......i'm fine still. haha

cycled to mandai and saw many many many children. and i foresee myself to be the one standing in front of my kids on a pri school excursion to the zoo! =)

when we were leaving the zoo, i was almost on the verge of hailing a cab to bring the bicycle together with me back to tzeyong's house. but i tot i'll just give it a shot to cycle back. and luckily i did, cuz the journey back was so much easier!!!! till then, i realised it had been upslopes that i've been conquering from the start of the journey... tze yong was lucky to have escaped a puddle splash from the car. if not he would have become the joke of the day that turned out to be me, because i was not lucky enough to have miss the puddle splash from the white mitsubishi car. idiot.

►blood donation...

its been the second time i've been rejected for blood donation due to my low iron level. i just wonder whats wrong with me....

i have the aim of giving as many blood donations as i could in my remaining years. but i guess screw-ups like this kind of 'low iron level' is disrupting my plan. i always suffered the prick without getting to donate. thats so unfair. hahah...alrighties, i shall eat more iron-ish food................the day b4 i go for my blood donation the next time round!

badminton yest is making me ache all over now....but well, its worth it. cuz i promised myself i'm so gonna stop being lazy and shall start exercising. =p

tzeyong and dawson are so funny. results are out today and i din reply tzeyong's msg regarding my grades. dawson msn me and asked me how did i do. b4 i replied (as i was busy), he said i sounded sad. but well, turn out to be i'm very happy with what i got. not like suppper good grades but definitely much better than what i've expected. i just thought it was really nice to have someone caring for this blur and lazy girl who had always complained about her 6 modules in a sem.

oh and today was a hectic day. and i had carnivore today!! just because someone had it with someone during one of the christmas, i was very interested in eating at carnivore. and i finally did today.

and they kept coming with the meat and filling my plate up with FOOD. the staffs are really nice and friendly. and there is one who's funny and cute as he would 'be upset' if we rejected his meat. there are really a variety of meat - chicken, lamb, beef, pork, fish etc. look at my plate thats fulllll...i know thats little for buffet, but it was more than enough for a meal of meat.

i like the chicken!!tender and juicy and nice~!!!

and i tried chicken heart which is a small piece. its really scary trying it out. but ok la. it tasted ok...=p

i love the yam and corn soup and the pineapple there!! its marvellous.

overall, it was a great day. =)

►i hate noisy train rides.

oh i hated the train ride home just now. NOISY, packed and uncomfortable. i think i'm getting spoilt. hahaha...i'm starting to hate taking trains home. such train rides make me feel claustrophobic....

there was this man who was practically shouting into his hp as if he was fighting with someone. I was utterly disgusted by him and all the surrounding ppl were practically looking at him. i dun understand...cant he just talk softer!!!!!??

other than that, nothing much to hate alr. =p

shan finally got her facebook account and she uploaded the pics. therefore, i no need to wait 3 mths for her return alr!

i miss that saturday when...

...we had our usual girls talk. but this time round, slightly different, with all all 4 of us having something to talk about our 'boyfriends'. previously it was always one or two that were always unattached.

...i got to hear colleen's usual "i'm so hungry.." when she arrived.

...shuyi's dramatic self when with us and her usual gentle voice when on the phone with her dear william.

...shan's claim on herself having to lose weight when she's already the slimmest among us.

we're always amazed at the endless of things we can talk about when we meet. in a blink, its been 9 years since we knew each other. wow. i feel so old.

►get a life, bren.

i realised it has really been long since i last wanted to blog about something. the previous one was the outing with my usual crazy babes for shan's departure to USA and i'm awaiting the photos that we took with shan's camera...i probably might have to wait until she's back 3 mths later...haha..and today i just wanted to blog about something.

i think its really cool to have a talk with someone that u dun usually get to talk to. or rather, someone that u respect and listen to. dear's off to cambodia (which i'm so envious of...haha) and the lucky me managed to get a ride back in boss' car (he happens to live in jurong west too!) after sending them off.

i've known boss for barely 3 years and i hardly ever get to talk to him...but i must say, i really look up to him. and everytime he speaks, i seriously listen and learn something. i never tot i would ever get a ride in his car alone all the way from changi to jurong west. haha. i'm really amazed at the number of names and people that he can remember. amazed at the things he know, the things he remember and the things he say. and today in the car, talking to someone that knows so much really make me feel that i know so little. hahahah. i know it sounds dumb, but well, i'm kinda motivated to explore myself and the world a little bit more. well. it striked me harder that i'm responsible in making my life a little bit more interesting in any way that i could...

its enough being a boring me. haha bren, GET A LIFE!!...

►FUN!

its always laughter when its 3 of us. somehow, we have endless stuff to tease each other about. i really miss bursting out in laughter. these laughters were last found when i'm with the odac girls...and now, i'm really amazed how a long lost sec sch friend and a 2mth old uni friend can bring such laughters to my life. they really added life to my uni.

we talk about crappy stuff and ask each other stupid things. i guess the best thing is we know we'll not be angry at each other for whatever we say.

i always think that tze yong's maid has a damn good life! that day tzeyong bought Mc Chicken for her to eat...maid get to eat mcdonald's lo...and today he went to buy 4D for her...i've yet to hear a 'master' helping a maid to do something...and he's the first. lol. oh anyway........since we were at the 4D place, i just tot we'll anyhow buy one number together. and somehow, we made a big joke out of the $1 iBET. we decided to buy 1big 1 small. but 3 of us, so $2 very hard to split. so someone suggested to make it $3 and i suggested a $1 ibet. they felt that the $1 ibet was so 'dui lian' that they made me buy the numbers. hey come on, whats so dui lian about it! even tho if strike consolation price only a few dollars...a few dollars also money right! hahahaha...and i told them iBet is not about the money, its about the thrill of stirking a number. and well, dawson classified that as 'cheap thrill'~lol

hahaha. and i'll not forget the last laughter that we had for the day...:

bren: "eh dawson, are u interested to look at....chicks?"

tze yong: *wondering look..he must be thinking why i didnt ask him..*

dawson...: (before he could say anything with the cheeky look)

bren: "i mean REAL chicks...the young chickens kind. go to the farmmart and see..."

tze yong: "haha, no wonder la..i tot why u never ask me!"

dawson: Orh...is the temperature hot there?

bren: "huh..why hot leh?"

dawson: "cuz i dun wanna see real chicks, i wanna see HOT CHICKS..."

dawson was damn cheeky. hahaha i guess it was the cheeky looks on our faces that was damn hilarious. OH well. it was a fun day~
