I'm so touched that there are people who msged me 'happy teacher's day!' haha thats really sweet of them...thank you friends..=)
but well, NIE doesnt celebrate teachers' day! what an irony right? haha but somehow, i love NIE. its where u feel motivated to teach because u really know that u wanna make a difference to the children's life. the profs and lecturers share so much that they make u feel that teaching is such a noble occupation. they show us videos and make us feel that we really know our purpose there, and that is for the growth of the children.
http://www.makeadifferencemovie.com/my tutee was really sweet too. The mum told me that she was telling the son in the afternoon that they had forgotten to get a gift for me. My tutee then told his mum that I dun need the present since i'm so old already and my own students will give me. And guess what happened. After tuition this afternoon, he passed me a toy flower and wished me a happy teachers' day. His mum did not even know he had a present for me. I guess he had already gotten the present for me even before he told his mum that....i tot he was really sweet.
and.....to all the teachers out there, i wish them a 'happy teachers' day too!! in the years to come, dun forget to wish your teachers a happy teachers' day too! u wont know how much impact this little msg will have and the amount of encouragement it brings to keep them going....
