TOooooo many things happening in school...but i shall just post some that I can remember on hand now!
English - We had to put up a performace to tell a story. Very fun...we dressed up, made nice scripts and stuffs. A cool way to teach children oral skills...

this is our script! =)

and in one of the english tutorials, everyone in class had to submit a poem written by ourselves to our tutor and I totally forgot about it. I was the only one in class who forgot about it. That teacher is really a very very nice and wonderful teacher. I felt so terribly bad and guilty that I almost teared in class. And below was what I wrote to her after the lesson. my concrete poem.
Science:I am planting kangkong seeds now!! pretty cool to grow all these kind of things. Feel so primary school....hahahah
Service Learning Daythe day that we have to do an exhibition on our project. Last year, we did a nature learning camp for 100+ primary school students and they got to learn more about nature. Well, the camp was really fun and beneficial for all of us, not just the students! Now, I know a bit more about how pH level of soil, pH level of water, DO(dissolved oxygen) level of water etc...affects our nature!
PSG posterIn one of our modules, one of the activities requires us to design a poster to encourage parents to join the school's parent support group(PSG). And my group had this.

sometimes, parents just neglect the fact that they have to play an active role in their child's learning. Yes, teaching is a teacher's job, but educating a child is the job of the teachers AND parents! so when u become a parent, always remember that your child needs you, not just when they were a baby....but instead, in every phase of their lives.
Maths.I know you know what is average. But if I ask you to explain what is average to a young kid, do you think you can do it? hahha. difficult huh? I never knew how to until I have to do a lesson presentation on average. And I bought 42 packets of koko crunch just for that 15 min lesson presentation. Well, the buy is all worth it, cuz I think the presentation was pretty good. and I'm SOOOO happy!
many many more things. and next week is the last week of NIE. the week after, we are off to our schools. I m back to the previous school that I was teaching at and I am very excited to go back there! The trainee teachers that I met the previous time are going back there again too!!!HOW exciting! I am so glad that we are meeting in the school again cuz they really made my previous school experience a marvellous one. I can't wait!
